Hospitality All Rounder

Peppers Beach Club situated in the heart of Port Douglas, one hours drive north of Cairns in Far North Queensland. The property combines beautifully appointed accommodation consisting of spa suites, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses all within walking distance to four-mile beach and the main street where you will find an array of local shopping options. Guests enjoy a lagoon style pool surrounded by lush palm trees where they can enjoy food and beverage offerings day and night from KOKO Poolside Bar & Kitchen. When enjoying your days off there is plenty to keep you occupied, from the Daintree Rainforest to the Great Barrier Reef, there is so much to experience in this little slice of paradise!



 

Purpose

As a Hospitality All Rounder, you will play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations, seamlessly transitioning between Food & Beverage, Front Office and Housekeeping. Your commitment to delivering exceptional service, coupled with your genuine care for our guests, will shine through in every department you work.

 

Primary Responsibilities

Your role encompasses several key areas, working within a diverse team to ensure an exceptional guest experience

  • Offer personalised food and beverage suggestions, whether in our outlets or during events leaving a lasting impression on our guests
  • Proactively source information to expand your product knowledge
  • Be the go-to source for information on neighbourhood hotspots and must-visit gems
  • From check-in to check-out, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional hospitality, ensuring that our guests have a memorable stay
  • Confidently communicate with both guests and colleagues enabling seamless teamwork
  • Cleaning guest rooms and public spaces all of which are crucial to creating an outstanding first impression
  • Use cleaning materials and chemicals with care, adhering to safety protocols to maintain a secure environment

 

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer facing hospitality role is a plus
  • Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific Country / State / Territory
  • Genuine passion for guest care, engaging with patrons and collaborating within a team of diverse professionals
  • Capable of embracing a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Strong work ethic, reliable and a commitment to excellence
  • Your problem-solving skills and unwavering positivity come into play when challenges arise, as you transform obstacles into opportunities
