Reliable and engaging. As a Guest Services Supervisor, you will demonstrate the essence of creating an exceptional guest journey. You are committed to taking care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the Guest Services department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
- Provide unique experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.
- Ensure a positive first impression of the resort for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.
- Remember individual’s names and their preferences to extend a personalized service
- Assist other rooms division departments with their operations during peak times or when required
- Support Guest Service Ambassadors, Expeditors and Limo/Shuttle Drivers, as needed.
- Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
- Microsoft Excel skill is an asset
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Detailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.
- Valid Driver’s License
Hourly Rate: $31.46 USD
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.
