We're looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Steward to join our dynamic team in Novotel Dubai Al Barsha, United Arab Emirates. As a Steward, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety across our facility. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our organization's success while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment where your efficiency and attention to detail truly matter.

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchens, dishwashing areas, storage facilities, and all related zones
• Ensure strict compliance with HACCP protocols, food safety regulations, and organizational hygiene standards
• Organize and execute daily cleaning tasks and deep cleaning programs according to established schedules
• Manage the washing, sanitizing, and proper storage of dishware, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
• Handle and store chemical products and cleaning supplies safely and responsibly
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting shortages promptly
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen and food service teams to anticipate and meet operational needs
• Respond quickly to urgent cleaning requests and adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture
• Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately
• Participate in inventory checks and track breakage or losses as required

**Required Qualifications:**

• Proven experience working as a Steward in a hospitality or food service environment
• Solid understanding of HACCP standards, food safety, and sanitation best practices
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Reliable, disciplined, and responsive approach to work
• Flexibility with scheduling, including potential shift work
• Basic proficiency in English (written and verbal)

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience in 4 or 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant environments
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• Multilingual abilities (Arabic, French, or other languages spoken in Dubai)
• Experience with hotel openings or pre-opening operations
• Familiarity with industrial dishwashing equipment and kitchen machinery
• Food safety certification or relevant training
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to new procedures quickly
