Job Description

As People and Culture Coordinator, you will support the end to end employee journey, helping to create a seamless, positive, and engaging experience for all team members across the hotel. You will play a key role in recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration, while contributing fresh ideas to enhance our workplace culture.

You are organised, proactive, and people focused. You enjoy working in a fast paced hospitality environment and take pride in creating structure, clarity, and great experiences for others. You are also creative, bringing energy and ideas to help build a workplace where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, changes, and offboarding administration
  • Acting as the warm and welcoming face of the hotel for all new starters, ensuring every team member feels supported, informed, and genuinely excited from day one
  • Coordinating and delivering engaging inductions that bring our culture, standards, and luxury service expectations to life, creating a strong sense of belonging from the outset
  • Assisting with recruitment activities including CV screening, candidate shortlisting, interview coordination, and candidate communication
  • Supporting employee engagement initiatives, social events, recognition activities, and internal culture programs
  • Maintaining accurate HR records, reporting, and data entry to support compliance and business needs
  • Assisting with general People and Culture administration and day to day operational support
  • Working closely with managers to ensure a smooth and professional people experience across all departments
  • Contributing ideas to enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and workplace culture across the hotel
  • Ensuring a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail in all HR processes
  • Supporting continuous improvement of People and Culture processes and systems

Qualifications

  • An entry-level HR professional, ideally with studies in Human Resources or a related field, and a genuine interest in building a career in HR within a luxury hospitality environment
  • An understanding of or interest in the hotel or hospitality industry is highly regarded
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • A positive can do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong administrative capability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with team members at all levels
  • A creative mindset with an interest in employee engagement, culture, and people experience
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • A genuine passion for people and creating a positive workplace experience
