The Houseman – Residences is responsible for supporting the overall cleanliness, presentation, and upkeep of the Residences, ensuring that common areas, corridors, and public spaces are consistently maintained to the highest standards. The role performs a variety of housekeeping duties, including cleaning and vacuuming, dusting and polishing surfaces, replenishing supplies, and supporting the movement and arrangement of housekeeping equipment and items.

Working closely with the Housekeeping team, the Houseman – Residences contributes to creating a welcoming, comfortable, and well-presented environment for residents and visitors. With attention to detail, reliability, and a strong sense of teamwork, the position plays an important role in maintaining the high standards of service and presentation expected at Raffles Residences.

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional education or vocational training in hospitality, housekeeping, or a related field is an advantage.
   
• Experience: Previous experience in Housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Experience in a luxury hotel or residences environment will be an advantage.
   
• Physical Fitness: Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving items and carrying out repetitive activities safely and effectively.
   
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation, ensuring all areas are consistently maintained to high standards.
   
• Teamwork and Communication Skills: Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Housekeeping colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth coordination and daily operations.
   
• Knowledge and Skills: Good understanding of housekeeping practices, cleanliness standards, and safety procedures. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
   
• Professionalism and Attitude: Professional, reliable, and flexible, with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to maintaining high standards of service and presentation.
