We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction in our hotel.
- Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring service standards are consistently met
- Train, motivate, and mentor housekeeping staff to deliver high-quality service
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, implementing solutions to enhance guest experience
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping services for special events or VIP guests
- Implement and maintain safety and security procedures within the housekeeping department
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient coverage of all shifts
- Monitor and control department expenses to meet budget targets
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative housekeeping practices
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Outstanding time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate and address guest needs
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in challenging situations
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is a plus
