Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rooms Division Manager to join our luxury hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of the rooms division, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

  • Lead and manage the front office, housekeeping, and Spa & Wellness departments to maintain the highest standards of service and cleanliness
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy rates
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement in rooms division operations
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and relevant local regulations
  • Collaborate with other department heads to enhance overall guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation
  • Recruit, train, and mentor rooms division staff to build a high-performing team
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative practices to maintain a competitive edge

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel management, with a focus on rooms division or front office management
  • Proven track record of leadership in luxury hotel environments
  • Extensive knowledge of hotel management systems and revenue management practices
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisive actions in high-pressure situations
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results
  • In-depth understanding of front office and housekeeping operations
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Additional certifications in hospitality management are preferred
