Job Description

FAENA The Red Sea is seeking a hardworking and service-oriented Houseman (Saudi National) to join our Housekeeping team. This role is responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the department by ensuring guest floors, public spaces, storage areas, and housekeeping service areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked. Working closely with Room Attendants and Public Area teams, the Houseman plays an important role in maintaining the exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest service that define the FAENA experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Room Attendants by delivering linen, towels, amenities, and housekeeping supplies.
  • Ensure housekeeping pantries, storage rooms, and service areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked.
  • Maintain cleanliness of guest corridors, service areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Assist with guest requests, including the delivery of extra beds, baby cots, pillows, and amenities.
  • Remove soiled linen, waste, and rubbish from guest floors and operational areas.
  • Support public area and housekeeping teams with daily operational requirements.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and special housekeeping initiatives.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, and safety concerns promptly.
  • Ensure housekeeping equipment is maintained, stored correctly, and available for use.
  • Support room preparation activities and special guest arrivals when required.
  • Follow health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
  • Maintain linen rooms, service closets, and storage areas in an orderly condition.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest and departmental requests.
  • Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Engineering, Laundry, and other operational departments.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in Housekeeping, Hospitality, Customer Service, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of housekeeping procedures and hotel operations.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support operational needs.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Physically able to lift, carry, and move supplies and equipment throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
