Love leading a busy restaurant service and bringing events to life? Join ibis Styles Mount Isa as our part-time Food & Beverage Supervisor.

We’re looking for someone with restaurant supervision and events experience to help lead Giuseppe’s Cantina, our Italian-inspired restaurant. You’ll combine hands-on service with planning and coordination, making sure both everyday dining and special functions run smoothly.

Working closely with the General Manager and kitchen team, you will:

• Lead restaurant and bar service, providing clear direction and support to the team.
• Coordinate functions and events, from enquiries and planning through to delivery.
• Prepare and maintain banquet event orders, organise invoices and deposits, and communicate event details across departments.
• Work with the kitchen to manage the pace of service and communicate dietary requirements accurately.
• Handle guest enquiries and feedback with confidence and care.
• Train team members and oversee opening, closing and service preparation.
• Maintain food safety and responsible service of alcohol standards.

You bring restaurant or bar supervisory experience, along with experience coordinating functions or events. You’re organised, approachable and comfortable making decisions during a busy service.

You’ll also have:

• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• A sound understanding of food safety and dietary requirements.
• A current RSA valid in Queensland.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
