Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Food & Beverage Coordinator to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Coordinate reservations for all F&B outlets
  • Manage Opentable/ResDiary systems with precision
  • Record and communicate special requests
  • Optimize table allocations for maximum revenue potential
  • Prepare daily/weekly F&B reports (cover counts, revenue, guest comments)
  • Maintain organized filing systems for contracts, menus, and SOPs
  • Process purchase orders and inventory documentation
  • Schedule and prepare materials for F&B meetings
  • Act as first point of contact for dining inquiries
  • Build and maintain guest preference database
  • Coordinate with concierge on VIP dining arrangements
  • Communicate reservation details to culinary and service teams
  • Coordinate with Events on banquet reservations
  • Work with Revenue Management on pricing strategies
  • Assist Talent & Culture with F&B documentation
  • Maintain par levels of office supplies for F&B department
  • Prepare monthly outlet performance presentations
  • Assist with F&B marketing collateral updates
  • Manage F&B leadership calendars and travel arrangements

Qualifications

 

  • 2-3 years of experience in the food and beverage industry
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer skills (MS Office Suite)
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on problem-solving
  • Experience in coordinating events or catering services
  • Understanding of dietary restrictions and allergens
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food and beverage trends to contribute to menu development and service improvements
