Job Description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused F&B Server to join our hospitality team in Sepang, Malaysia. In this role, you will deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive, efficient, and friendly service to our guests. You will be the face of our establishment, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and hospitality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction make a real difference.

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them according to restaurant procedures and availability
  • Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding food and beverage offerings
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system and communicate special requests to the kitchen
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring orders are correct and presented attractively
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or issues with professionalism and empathy
  • Process payments accurately, handle cash transactions, and process credit card payments securely
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations throughout the shift
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests, ensuring a welcoming environment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth service operations
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards consistently to maintain health and safety compliance
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving abilities
  • Upsell menu items and beverages when appropriate to enhance the guest experience

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food and beverage service or hospitality industry (preferred)
  • Strong customer service skills with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and restaurant protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays and service items
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills with a positive attitude
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food and beverage pairings or wine service (preferred)
