Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to join our team in the beautiful regency of Payangan,  Ubud, Indonesia. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining high standards of customer service across all departments.

  • Oversee daily operations of the hotel, ensuring all departments are functioning efficiently and cohesively
  • Manage and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high guest satisfaction levels
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures across all areas of the hotel
  • Monitor and maintain safety and security protocols
  • Conduct regular inspections of public areas and guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
  • Manage staff schedules and allocate resources effectively
  • Assist in training and developing team members
  • Respond to and manage emergency situations as part of the first response team
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on hotel operations, occupancy, and any significant incidents

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Duty Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in hotel management software and systems
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, effective decisions
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
  • Professional appearance and good grooming standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
