We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Duty Manager to join our dynamic team in Sepang, Malaysia. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facility during your shift, while maintaining exceptional standards and fostering a positive work environment. This is a pivotal role that requires a decisive, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities, lead teams effectively, and respond promptly to operational challenges while maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee all operational activities during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Lead and supervise team members, providing clear direction, support, and mentorship to maintain high performance and morale
- Monitor facility operations, identify potential issues, and implement timely solutions to prevent disruptions
- Handle guest or client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring prompt resolution and positive outcomes
- Manage staff scheduling and roster coordination to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to maintain quality standards and identify maintenance needs
- Prepare accurate incident reports, operational logs, and documentation as required by organizational standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to coordinate activities and support organizational goals
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and crisis management scenarios with composure and decisive action
- Analyze operational metrics and performance data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Maintain transparent communication with team members and management regarding operational status and challenges
- Ensure health, safety, and security protocols are consistently followed throughout the facility
- 2 years of experience in operations management or a similar supervisory role in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members while maintaining professional standards
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities with a customer-focused mindset
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to remain calm, resilient, and decisive under pressure
- Knowledge of health, safety, and security compliance requirements
- Proficiency in conflict resolution and crisis management
- Experience with incident reporting, documentation, and record-keeping
- Familiarity with operational budgeting and cost control principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
