Mercure Budapest Korona is looking for a Deputy General Manager!

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

We are looking for a passionate talent with operational experience in hospitality, to coordinate the operations of a four-star Accor flagship hotel under the Mercure brand in Budapest. This unique property is located in the heart of Budapest at Kalvin Square, offering 412 rooms, a Winestone restaurant & bar, 9 well-equipped meeting rooms to host events up to 300 participants - suitable for both business and leisure travellers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a key member of management team and reporting directly to the General Manager, the Deputy General Manager plays an essential role in coordinating all the areas of hotel operations. You will lead with vision and operational excellence fostering a high-performing motivated team culture. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, combining guest-centric service with performance-driven management. You will collaborate closely with all department heads to elevate guest satisfaction, team engagement, and overall hotel results.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Passion and proven experience as a Hotel Manager, Deputy Manager, Operational Manager or Sales Director, responsible for large teams within a similar hotel
• Solid business knowledge, proven experience in budgeting, and the ability to achieve business goals
• Ability to operate both operationally and strategically to ensure profitability and the highest quality of guest service
• Extensive experience in hotels offering comprehensive conference and MICE services, including coordination of large-scale events and collaboration with corporate clients
• Demonstrated leadership skills to engage, empower and inspire the team
• Experience working within diverse multigenerational teams
• Consistency in action and a strong drive to achieve
