Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth.
- Develop comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the hotel's objectives and market dynamics.
- Identify target market segments and develop tailored strategies to penetrate and capture market share.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable business agreements.
- Continuously explore new revenue streams, such as group bookings, events, packages, and ancillary services.
Partnership Development:
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with local businesses, tourism boards, and industry influencers to drive referral business and enhance the hotel's brand visibility.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop joint promotional campaigns and leverage partner networks effectively.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained to foster guest loyalty and positive reviews.
- Actively engage with guests to gather feedback, address concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement loyalty programs and retention strategies to encourage repeat business and enhance guest satisfaction.
Networking and Representation:
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and establish professional relationships.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to remain competitive and adaptive in the market.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to assess effectiveness of business development strategies.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the hospitality industry, preferably in a managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management principles, and industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving targets
