Job Description

  1. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

    • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth.
    • Develop comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the hotel's objectives and market dynamics.
    • Identify target market segments and develop tailored strategies to penetrate and capture market share.
  2. Sales and Revenue Generation:

    • Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key stakeholders.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable business agreements.
    • Continuously explore new revenue streams, such as group bookings, events, packages, and ancillary services.
  3. Partnership Development:

    • Cultivate strategic partnerships with local businesses, tourism boards, and industry influencers to drive referral business and enhance the hotel's brand visibility.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop joint promotional campaigns and leverage partner networks effectively.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained to foster guest loyalty and positive reviews.
    • Actively engage with guests to gather feedback, address concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Implement loyalty programs and retention strategies to encourage repeat business and enhance guest satisfaction.
  5. Networking and Representation:

    • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and establish professional relationships.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to remain competitive and adaptive in the market.
  6. Reporting and Analysis:

    • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to assess effectiveness of business development strategies.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights, achievements, and areas for improvement

Additional Information

Minimum  6 years of experience with 2 years  in similar capacity

Good communication and customer relationship management skills

Service oriented with an eye for details

Well versed with  Events/Salesforce

Ability to work well within all levels of Organization, especially internal and external senior management

Self-motivated and energetic
