Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Bell Captain to join our prestigious hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As the Bell Captain, you will lead and supervise our bell desk, valet, transportation, and airport operations teams, ensuring exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.

  • Oversee and coordinate bell desk, valet, transportation, and airport operations
  • Supervise, train, and schedule bell service staff to maintain high service standards
  • Ensure efficient handling of guest luggage, deliveries, and transportation requests
  • Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and guest services provided
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and resolve issues promptly
  • Manage and maintain bell desk equipment and supplies
  • Provide local area information and assist guests with inquiries
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures
  • Monitor and improve service quality through regular staff evaluations and feedback
  • Assist in upselling hotel amenities and services when appropriate
  • Handle special requests and VIP guest services with utmost care and attention

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in hotel guest services or related field
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic highly preferred
  • Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Opera Property Management System or similar hotel software
  • Familiarity with local culture, customs, and attractions in Jeddah and surrounding areas
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with luggage handling
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
  • Hospitality management education or related certifications are a plus
