Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Chief Concierge to join our prestigious luxury hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our concierge team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive world-class service and unforgettable experiences during their stay.

  • Assist the Chief Concierge in overseeing daily operations of the concierge desk
  • Provide personalized recommendations and arrange services for guests, including dining reservations, transportation, and cultural experiences
  • Manage and mentor junior concierge staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Resolve complex guest inquiries and concerns with tact and professionalism
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, events, and services in Jeddah and surrounding areas
  • Implement and uphold luxury service standards across the concierge team
  • Assist in developing and improving concierge services and procedures
  • Handle VIP guest requests and special arrangements
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication of guest preferences and requests across shifts

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a luxury hotel or resort concierge role
  • Previous supervisory experience in hospitality
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Les Clefs d'Or certification preferred
  • Fluency in Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in hotel management software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Jeddah's attractions, dining, and cultural scene
  • Thorough understanding of luxury hospitality standards and practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating lasting memories
