Welcome to TRIBE Auckland Fort Street, where design meets function, comfort meets cool, and affordability meets aesthetic. We’re proudly open in the heart of Auckland’s CBD, we're looking for a passionate Coffee Master (Barista) to join our team and become the face of our exciting new coffee cart experience

At TRIBE Auckland, coffee is more than just a drink, it's a connection point. Our outdoor coffee cart is an extension of the Social Hub, bringing together hotel guests, locals, and passers-by through great coffee, genuine conversations, and memorable experiences.

As our Coffee Master, you'll be more than an expert barista. You'll be the face of our coffee culture, delivering exceptional beverages, sharing your passion for coffee, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects TRIBE's bold, authentic personality. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Crafting consistently exceptional coffee, tea, and specialty beverages. 
• Creating genuine connections and personalised experiences for every guest.
• Bringing the TRIBE spirit to life through authentic and engaging service. 
• Maintaining a clean, organised and inviting coffee cart environment. 
• Supporting Grab & Go service with efficiency and attention to detail. 
• Sharing your knowledge and passion for coffee, local products and seasonal offerings. 
• Contributing creative ideas for new drinks, promotions and guest experiences. 
• Assisting with stock control, food safety and day-to-day operations

• Previous barista experience (6+ months preferred). 
• Strong espresso-making and milk texturing skills. 
• A genuine passion for coffee, hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills. 
• The ability to work independently and stay organised during busy periods. 
• A positive, energetic and proactive attitude. 
• Comfort working outdoors in a coffee cart environment. 
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
