Fairmont Amman offers travelers and residents of Amman luxury accommodations in 317 spacious guest rooms and suites, including Fairmont Gold, the hotel’s exclusive hotel within a hotel. With a modern, beautiful architectural design and stunning interiors, we make use of the finest wood and marble, and our rooms and hotel interiors combine classic luxury with contemporary design, all housed in spacious rooms of at least 42 square meters or more.


Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities include:

- Consistently deliver professional, engaging, and genuinely warm service, embodying Fairmont’s spirit of turning moments into special memories.

- Oversee daily hotel operations, collaborating closely with Heads of Department to ensure seamless achievement of hotel targets and the highest Fairmont brand standards.

- Translate strategic business objectives into actionable plans and measurable targets, driving operational excellence.

- Uphold and elevate Fairmont’s luxury standards, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional and memorable experience.

- Identify and optimize all sales and revenue opportunities, supporting the hotel’s commercial success.

- Act as the General Manager’s deputy in their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and operational integrity.

- Provide guidance and support to all reporting Heads of Department, fostering a culture of collaboration and empowerment.

- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, licensing, and employment regulations, championing a proactive safety culture.

- Lead and facilitate effective communication across all levels, both verbally and in writing.

- Chair senior-level meetings as required, driving alignment and accountability.

- Oversee succession planning, regular performance reviews, and talent development to build a high-performing team.

- Lead the business with a focus on operational excellence, strategic direction, and achievement of all property targets.

- Maximize profitability and ensure robust financial management across all departments.

- Guarantee compliance with all operating controls, policies, and legislation.

- Play an active role in recruitment, selecting talent that aligns with Fairmont’s values and vision.

-Champion employee engagement, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment where every colleague’s input is valued.

- Maintain and elevate product and service quality standards, consistently exceeding guest expectations.

- Promote the Fairmont brand, ensuring all brand essentials and standards are flawlessly executed.


Qualifications

-Passionate about personal and team development, with a commitment to continuous growth.

- Strong operational background in both Rooms and Food & Beverage, ideally within top luxury hotels.

- Inspirational leader with an engaging presence and a clear focus on guest service excellence.

- Exceptional relationship builder, able to foster trust and collaboration at all levels.

- Strategic, creative thinker with outstanding communication skills.

- Proven ability to drive commercial performance and deliver on key business metrics.

- Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial reporting.

- Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications and hotel management systems
