Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North

Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North comprises a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.


Job Description

  • Understand and capable of doing all Switchboard office duties.
  • Answer and connect all the external and internal calls.
  • Takes messages and control all messages if they have been received by the guests.
  • Handle wake-up call requests.
  • Control the Voice Mail and the Telephone Interface if the systems are working properly.
  • Handle fire alarm and bomb threat.
  • Handle guests’ doctor requests.
  • Check the telephone charges that have been made properly.
  • Handle guests’ “Do Not Disturb” requests.
  • Inform the Manager on Duty about all the important and emergency events.
  • Follow-up daily notes, logbook, checklist.
  • Helps for all duties at the desk
  • Follow up daily duties and signs the checklist.
  • Updates all guest information from registration card to the computer system.
  • Perform other duties assigned by his/her Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management
  • Ability to work from multiple shifts includes night shift
  • Good communication skills, Arabic, and Russian speaker is highly preferred
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
