Company Description

We’re looking for a Food & Beverage Coordinator to shake things up with us in both Breman Brasserie and Barbue. Reporting to our Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible to assist the F&B department in their day to day admin and operations tasks.

Breman Brasserie is an all-day restaurant that pays homage to the history of the iconic Lloyd building and features a menu of traditional European-meets-South American food. The bar serves classic cocktails with vibrant flavours and captivating New World wines.

Barbue is a destination cocktail bar by award-winning mixologist, Renato Giovannoni. The bar uses drinks, music and hospitality to express the sharing of cultures between Europe and South America, while celebrating the rich history of the Lloyd building and of those that passed through - toward a better life. Barbue is a story of migration, integration and adaptation and of people coming together - Italian accented, Argentinian inspired, and situated in the grand old ticketing office of an iconic 20th Century building in Amsterdam.

In 2023 we have opened our second Hoxton in Amsterdam, this time based in the Eastern Docklands where we are lovingly taking the reins of the historic former Lloyd Hotel. This beautiful property features 136 bedrooms, including the introduction of some new rooms categories for the Hox, a large ground floor restaurant and huge outdoor terrace, a new bar and The Apartment – our unique meetings and events concept.

Job Description

What you'll do...

  • Assist the F&B department with administrative tasksx.
  • Help cover room service (during breaks and team briefings).
  • Assist operations by creating SOPs based on managers' needs and requests.
  • Understand staffing needs according to days/events/trainings.
  • Act as the link between the establishment and the zero hours colleagues, assigning them their weekly shifts.
  • Keeping hours and shifts up to date in our systems.
  • Assist managers with various projects (incentives, tips, etc.).
  • Distribute uniforms, keep stock up to date and initiate ordering procedures when stock is low.
  • Regularly update current incentives and communicate them to teams.
  • Enter team schedules on Booq.
  • Create, update and communicate food and drinks bibles, new menus and tastings.
  • Assist hostesses where necessary.
  • Know how to use the various restaurant tools (Formitable, Micros, etc.)
  • Menus and lists proofing.
  • Analyze and respond to customer comments (Trip Advisor, Google review, etc.)
  • Create and collect information for various reports.
