Job Description

  • Coordinates media interest in the Organization and ensures regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests. 
  • Assists in the validation of qualified media requests and marketing partnerships for the company’s further reach in reputation and standing. 
  • Responds to marketing queries, and assists in the coordination and organization of familiarization trips, media stays, and collaborations. 
  • Assists the team with ongoing media and PR efforts, including media and influencer relations, press trips hosting, and engaging with partners and collaborators before, during, and after their stay. 
  • Imbibes each property’s brand identity and keeps up with brand updates. Assists the line manager and other stakeholders in upholding the branding guidelines and implementing brand standards. 
  • Coordinates and produces internal photoshoots for both properties, particularly for online content and tactical marketing collateral. Assists media when shooting on the premises. Assists the line manager in the production of brand and lifestyle shoots. 
  • Assists in the development and execution of creative concepts, projects and events, such as Pullman’s annual Pillar Weeks. Coordinates and works with other departments and stakeholders for the success of MarComm-related activations. 
  • Under guidance, creates short-form copy writing for marketing collateral, reports, etc. 
  • Conducts research on market trends and creates professional presentations for the Sales and Marketing department. 
  • Creates presentations and reports as needed to support the departmental goals, such as property, event and project decks, monthly reports, weekly dashboards, and Town Hall meetings. 
  • Champions and maintains the department’s Master Lists. 
  • Supports the line manager in the department’s daily operations, such as managing requests and liaising between departments. 
  • Maintains effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant departments are aware of marketing objectives. 
  • Liaises with all partners stakeholders as directed by the line manager, such as corporate office and contracted PR agencies, service providers, and other departments. 
  • Assists in administrative duties and staying informed and on top of departmental operations, such as budgets and expenditures, tracking of training hours, project KPIs, and schedules. Provides support in the management and development of the rest of the Marketing Communications team. 

Qualifications

  • College degree or diploma, and/or equivalent qualifications
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Marketing Communications and/or PR in the hospitality sector. 
  • An excellent grasp of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Has copy writing skills and can write short-form copy for promotional material, social media, blogs, and editorial and business writing. Experience in using AI tools is an advantage.
