Job Description

  • Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
  • Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
  • Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements

Qualifications

We are looking for a well-organized and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can display a “passion for perfection” and work in a dynamic environment. In addition, the candidate should possess:

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal &communication skills
  • Degree from School for Tourism & Hotel Management preferred
  • Must be a strong team player with strong departmental cooperation
  • Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Fluent in English and Arabic language with a third language as an asset
  • Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment
  • Must have the ability to assess and make decisions based on strong analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to maintain excellent professional presentation and grooming
  • Knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office products and Property Management System
  • Luxury five-star experience necessary
  • Must be willing to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts (according to the needs of the guests). 
  • Must be able to stand for 90% of their scheduled time
