Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North comprises a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Meryal Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.
Assistant Director of Sales
This position reports to the Director of Sales. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Doha market and/or the Middle East region, coupled with a proven track record in hotel sales, account management, and business development. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional to contribute to the success and expansion of our luxury resort in a dynamic and competitive market.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute sales strategies targeting corporate, leisure, MICE, and government sectors.
- Utilize in-depth market knowledge to identify new business opportunities and enhance the resort's presence in the Doha and regional markets.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, travel agents, corporate accounts, and local businesses to maximize revenue potential.
- Assist in training, motivating, and developing the sales team to ensure alignment with business goals and sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adjust sales strategies and optimize revenue generation.
- Provide regular and detailed sales reports, performance analysis, and forecasting to support decision-making and business planning.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure effective brand positioning through targeted campaigns and promotions.
- Represent the resort at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, promoting the brand and generating valuable business leads.
