Job Description

  • Greet and assist members, guests, and the public in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide accurate information about programs, memberships, schedules, and facility policies.

  • Process registrations for classes, programs, and special events using computer software.

  • Handle payments for memberships, classes, and merchandise; maintain accurate financial records and receipts.

  • Monitor access to the facility, ensuring all guests have proper authorization or passes.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and reception area.

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.

  • Communicate effectively with recreation staff, instructors, and management.

  • Respond to customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate as needed.

  • Promote upcoming events, classes, and services to members and visitors.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Fluency in English

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, scheduling software, or recreation management systems).

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of recreational programs and services is a plus.
