Job Description

We are seeking a professional and organized Staff House & Restaurant Supervisor to join our team in the Kuwait Free Trade Zone, Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our staff house and restaurant facilities, ensuring high-quality service and a positive experience for both residents and diners.

  • Manage and supervise staff house and restaurant operations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in all food preparation and service areas
  • Review staff feedback with the Staff Cafeteria Chef and address concerns timely and professionally.
  • Responsible for maintaining standards for condiments, table settings, ambiance, and overall function and flow of the dining room.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain menu quality and consistency
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Organize and oversee special events or functions as needed
  1. To be part of the organizing committee.
  2. To organize regular sports events in conjunction with the hotel’s Human Resources division, and to maintain an updated notice board with staff lists, results, updates and ranking.
  3. To organize regular Social or Charity Activities in the Recreation Room.
  4. To setup and regularly review the employee transportation schedule, covering transport to the hotels, town and schools.
  5. To monitor punctuality and cleanliness of buses, as well as the grooming of the drivers.
  6. To coordinate with the Transportation Company any changes in schedule or additional transportation needs.
  7. To attend weekly meetings in the hotel’s Human Resources department.
  8. To prepare weekly reports for the Human Resources regarding restaurant & housing issues.
  9. Updated Follow Up list for Maintenance Requests
  10. maintain planner for new arrivals / leavers / transfers (allocation)
  11. To establish and review on regular basis a detailed “housing Rules & Regulations” handout.
  12. To be available for counselling for compound related problems (problems between housing occupants, cleaning of rooms, personal grooming and hygiene, personal issues, etc.).
  13. To inform the Human Resources of any major Disciplinary issues.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in a staff house or restaurant setting
  • Proven supervisory experience with strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
  • Proficiency in inventory management and staff scheduling systems
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
