Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in Visakhapatnam, India. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and mentoring a high-performing sales team, and developing strategic initiatives to expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, a customer-focused mindset, and a proven ability to exceed sales targets while maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed organizational revenue targets and growth objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to deliver exceptional performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and optimize sales approaches
  • Manage the complete sales pipeline, from lead generation through deal closure, ensuring consistent and timely follow-up
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to support their professional development
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management on a regular basis
  • Customize sales solutions to meet client needs while maintaining profitability and company standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments including marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless execution
  • Participate in industry events, networking activities, and client meetings to strengthen market positioning

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in sales management or a similar leadership role
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
  • Strong proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and sales analytics tools
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders
  • Proven expertise in B2B and/or B2C sales environments
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making
  • Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities with experience in team development and performance management
  • Proficiency in sales pipeline management and forecasting techniques
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships
  • Preferred: Experience in strategic planning, market expansion, and P&L management
