What you'll be doing

• Leading and motivating the team during busy service periods
• Supervising restaurant, bar and in room dining operations to ensure smooth day-to-day service
• Delivering exceptional guest experiences and resolving guest enquiries with confidence
• Training and supporting team members to meet Novotel service standards
• Preparing and serving quality espresso coffee, cocktails and other beverages
• Providing bar service, and being responsible for cash handling and POS transactions
• Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless food and beverage delivery
• Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and food safety
• Monitoring rosters and staff schedules to meet operational requirements

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, bar or hotel food & beverage environment essential
• Leadership experience or the confidence and capability to step into a junior supervisory role
• Strong barista skills and experience preparing espresso coffee is an advantage
• Experience in bar service and a passion for food and beverage
• A friendly, outgoing and positive attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and lead by example during service
• Flexibility to work breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Current RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Australian working rights are essential to be considered for this role
