We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Steward Supervisor to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a Steward Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the stewarding department, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our food and beverage outlets.

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of stewards, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment
• Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and procedures for all kitchen areas, dining rooms, and banquet facilities
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and organization standards
• Coordinate with other departments to support smooth service operations
• Handle employee scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during shifts
• Implement and maintain quality control measures for all stewarding activities
• Participate in budget planning and cost control for the stewarding department

• Proven experience as a Steward Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the food and beverage industry
• In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations and stewarding best practices
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and organization
• Proficiency in inventory management and budget control
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service environments
• Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
