Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Specialty Outlet Manager to join our team at the Swissotel Doha, Qatar. As the Specialty Outlet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our unique dining establishment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business success.

  • Lead and inspire a team of  service professionals to deliver outstanding dining experiences
  • Develop and implement innovative  concepts that align with current culinary trends and local preferences
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and cleanliness
  • Analyze financial reports, manage budgets, and implement strategies to optimize profitability
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and key stakeholders
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute promotional strategies
  • Stay informed about industry trends and implement best practices to maintain a competitive edge
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and professional growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in specialty or fine dining establishments
  • Proven track record of successfully managing restaurant operations and driving business growth
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software, POS systems, and financial reporting tools
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, with current Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe)
  • Experience in menu planning, development, and pricing strategies
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control
  • Knowledge of international cuisines and current dining trends
  • Understanding of Middle Eastern culinary culture and preferences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
