Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Specialty Outlet Manager to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers, Qatar. As the Specialty Outlet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our unique dining establishment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and service.

  • Lead and inspire a team of culinary and service professionals to deliver outstanding dining experiences
  • Develop and implement innovative menu concepts in collaboration with the executive chef
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain impeccable cleanliness standards
  • Analyze market trends and guest feedback to continuously improve menu offerings and service quality
  • Foster a culture of excellence and professionalism among staff through training and mentorship
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the restaurant and increase brand awareness
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with utmost professionalism and efficiency
  • Oversee budget management, cost control, and financial reporting for the restaurant
  • Stay informed about local and international culinary trends to keep the restaurant competitive and relevant

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in specialty or fine dining establishments
  • Proven track record of successfully managing high-end dining operations and driving customer satisfaction
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines and current dining trends
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and profit optimization
  • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and stakeholders
  • Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe) and thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Familiarity with Middle Eastern culinary culture and dining preferences
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
