Job Description

Being exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple tasks, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising the team for preparation and service delivery in a hand on capacity.
  • Assist in driving service standards to ensure the highest level of service execution is achieved.
  • Hands on throughout all periods and areas of the kitchen brigade.
  • Following efficient preparation methods and standards recipes to ensure wastage costs are controlled.
  • Training and development of the team to ensure they grow from strength to strength


In order to be successful for this role:

  • Must have a PASSION for delivering a wonderful culinary experience to all guests!
  • Previous experience in a hotel environment
  • Hotel experience – 4 or 5 star product
  • Hold a current NZ Food Safety Certificate
  • Exceptional organizational and guest service delivery skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time, working well under pressure.
  • Flexibility of availability – able to work days/evenings/weekends
