Server - Mallard Lounge

Nestled at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, just two hours north of Downtown Vancouver, Fairmont Chateau Whistler defines mountain luxury. You are an ambassador for the exceptional service that hallmarks the experience our guests have in our Mallard Lounge. Your warm, personal attention and knowledge of our food and beverage offerings makes guests feel unique and valued.

This is a full-time, permanent position, starting in May 2026.

Starting Pay Rate: $18.80 per hour.

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $20.60.

Job Duties Include:

• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methods
• Clear tables/dishware in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• BC Serving It Right Certificate required prior to commencing employment
• Required to be of legal age (19 years old) to serve alcohol in British Columbia
