Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead our MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) division in the beautiful island destination of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive growth in our MICE business.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize MICE revenue and market share
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the MICE sector, with a focus on both domestic and international markets
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of MICE events and client satisfaction
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making
  • Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and budgets for the MICE division
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management on sales performance and market insights

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in MICE sales, with at least 2 years in a management role
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of the MICE sector and current market trends
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools
  • Fluency in English; additional languages, especially Vietnamese, are a plus
  • Experience working in the Vietnamese or Southeast Asian hospitality market is highly desirable
  • Industry certifications such as CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or CITP (Certified Incentive Travel Professional) are advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to relocate to Phu Quoc, Vietnam
