We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to join our dynamic and multicultural sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth within the Eastern European, Scandinavian, Korean, Japanese, Turkish, and Australian markets. Based on the island, this role requires a proactive individual with expertise in account management, client entertainment, account qualification, sales calling (in-person and online), and product training. This position offers an exciting opportunity for both expats and locals to contribute to our global success.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Revenue Generation:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the designated markets (Eastern European, Scandinavian, Korean, Japanese, Turkish, and Australian).
- Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities to expand our customer base and market presence.
- Consistently meet revenue goals in accordance with team and organizational objectives.
- Account Management and Business Development:
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts to achieve long-term success and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Generate new business through proactive sales calling, cold calling, and networking within existing and potential customer networks.
- Account Qualification and Market Analysis:
- Qualify leads and identify high-potential accounts to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for new products and services.
- Provide regular reports on customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
- Product Training and Knowledge:
- Conduct product training sessions for the reservation teams to ensure comprehensive knowledge of our offerings and USPs.
- Stay up-to-date on product developments, industry trends, and competitive offerings to effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Client Entertainment:
- Plan and execute client entertainment activities to strengthen relationships and foster goodwill.
- Adhere to company policies and ethical guidelines when engaging in client entertainment.
- Reporting and Forecasting:
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, revenue reports, and expense reports to the management team.
- Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Track sales goals, report results, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure targets are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales management role, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a luxury hotel or affiliated industry.
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must understand ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
