Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and memorable stay by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our guest rooms and public areas.

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures
  • Follow daily cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Stock and organize housekeeping carts with necessary supplies and linens
  • Use cleaning products and equipment safely and economically
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the local area to assist guests with inquiries and directions
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment
  • Understanding of safe lifting techniques and ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
  • Basic English language skills for communicating with guests and team members
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
