Reservations Agent - Fixed Term

Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments is looking for a Reservations Sales Agent on a Fixed Term Contract untill March 2025 to join this ever thriving and exciting environment! Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments is a 250 room Hotel including Apartments with a lively Restaurant and three Conference spaces located near the vibrant Melbourne CBD and Queen Victoria Markets.

Reservations Agent
You are the beginning of an exceptional guest experience. As a Reservations Agent, you will make our guests feel welcome and reflect the exceptional experience the come when they arrive!
 

• Handles all incoming reservations enquiries in a timely manner, taking particular care to up-sell and maximise revenue opportunities
• Provide passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service to external and internal guests at all times
• Greet all guests that come into contact with the Reservations department in a friendly manner, ensuring that the guest name is used at all times
• Ensure special requests are communicated to relevant Departments to ensure they actioned appropriately and in a timely manner
• Be fluent on all hotel products and services
• Handle emails pertaining to rooms reservations

Your experience and skills include:

• Prior experience working with Opera or a related systems is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to adapt to changing environment.
• Attention to Detail
•  Ability to handle multiple tasks
•  Ability to organize work flow
