Overnight Receptionist

Calling All Night Owls!  We are currently seeking an Overnight Receptionist to join our team and collaborate with the Night Manager in delivering outstanding service at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Convention Centre.

As an Overnight Receptionist, you'll be key in creating a smooth and enjoyable overnight experience for our guests, offering exceptional service from start to finish. As the first and last point of contact, you'll set the tone with warm, genuine hospitality, ensuring each guest feels valued and cared for throughout their stay.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing outstanding customer service during check-ins/check-outs
• Proactively managing guest requests and working closely with other departments to exceed guest expectations
• Key security tasks such as checking key facilities are locked and secure
• Assisting the Night Manager with audit tasks
• Handling reservation duties, including arrivals checks, deposits, and taking reservation calls
• Providing Food and Beverage assistance where required

• Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
• Strong computer skills, with Opera Cloud experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Flexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends, and holidays, while being a strong team player.
