Company Description

Are you ready to elevate your career in hospitality management? Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our prestigious team. Perfectly located in Circular Quay, our property offers views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We combine hotel rooms and strata apartments to provide a unique blend of short-term accommodation for guests and long-term residential options. Our food & beverage experience includes Q Dining and the iconic Hacienda Bar and Lounge.

As the Operations Manager, you will report directly to the Portfolio General Manager and oversee the daily operations of the hotel, with a focus on the food and beverage department and guiding the rooms; front office, housekeeping, and maintenance departments. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Food & Beverage and have experience in hotel operations, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.


Job Description

  • Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, focusing on the food & beverage department and providing guidance to rooms; including the front desk, housekeeping and maintenance departments.
  • Ensure that all guest and resident requests and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage the hotel's budget and expenses, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Supervise and train staff to maintain the highest level of service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel management operationally, including at least 2 years in a managerial role within food & beverage.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience in planning and project management
