Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement health and safety programs.
  • Prioritizes health problems and intervenes appropriately to assist the patient in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care, and provide emergency treatment in the workplace.
  • Perform patients   routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse, blood pressure and temperature, provide drugs and injections etc)
  • Administer over-the-counter medication to employees.
  • Create a clean, and comfortable sickbay area.
  • Document all employee injury and illness and keep this information confidential.
  • Improve the health of employees through on-going programs and health checks.
  • Develop strategies to ensure maximum employee work input.
  • Communicate with management on a regular basis.
  • Ensures excellent service and standards at all times as well as behaving in a professional manner when on and off duty
  • Maintains complete knowledge and complies with all hotel and departmental policies and procedures
  • Carries out other duties as required by management from time to time, such as but not limited to lateral service in other parts of the Human Resources or Hotel.
  • Sets up workstation(s) with necessary supplies along with maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.
  • Administer workloads
  • Follow care regulations and standards
  • Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team

Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Registered Nursing Degree.
  • 1-2 years' related experience the hospitality sector.
  • Display of comprehensive computer skills.
  • Well trained and skilled on the usage of medical equipment.
  • Must be well acquainted with the emergency medical procedures.
  • Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, Health & Safety aspects.
  • High levels of organizational skills and efficiency.
