Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Manager (F&B Controls) to join our team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the financial controls and operational efficiency of our food and beverage operations.

  • Develop and implement effective cost control measures for food and beverage operations
  • Analyze financial data and prepare regular reports on F&B performance metrics
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock turnover
  • Collaborate with F&B managers to establish and maintain budgets
  • Conduct regular audits of F&B outlets to ensure compliance with financial procedures
  • Identify areas for improvement in operational efficiency and implement solutions
  • Train and mentor staff on proper financial controls and reporting procedures
  • Evaluate and recommend upgrades to POS and inventory management systems
  • Assist in menu engineering and pricing strategies to maximize profitability
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and local regulations related to F&B operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in F&B management or controls, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting
  • Strong financial management and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems
  • Expertise in inventory control and POS systems
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • In-depth knowledge of the food and beverage industry and hospitality operations
  • Professional certifications in hospitality management or financial controls (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with local food safety regulations and compliance requirements
