Overview
The Commercial Laundry Supervisor oversees daily laundry operations to ensure efficient, high-quality processing of linens, uniforms, and other textiles. This role manages staff, maintains equipment performance, and ensures compliance with safety and hygiene standards while meeting production targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in laundry and cleaning services. Previous hotel experience is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where quality and efficiency are valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and finishing
• Lead, train, and rotate laundry staff to maintain productivity and quality standards
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or processes to meet deadlines and volume demands
• Inspect finished products to ensure cleanliness and quality requirements are met
• Maintain and troubleshoot laundry equipment; coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards (including proper chemical handling)
• Track production metrics, labor hours, and operational costs
• Collaborate with management to ensure service satisfaction
• Handle employee performance issues and provide coaching or disciplinary action when needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Days off are Wednesday/Thursday

• High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset)
• 2–5 years of experience in commercial or industrial laundry operations
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of laundry chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling
• Prior experience in hotel laundry services or similar cleaning roles is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time constraints
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
