The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of our laundry operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service quality for our guests.


Job Description

Main Duties.

  • Manage daily laundry operations, including scheduling, quality control, and inventory management
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate laundry staff to maintain peak performance and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all laundry processes
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize laundry operations and reduce costs
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laundry equipment to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet linen and uniform needs
  • Monitor and control the use of chemicals and supplies to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets and financial reports
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints related to laundry services promptly and professionally
  • Implement environmentally friendly practices in laundry operations where possible

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Laundry Manager in a luxury hotel or similar setting
  • In-depth knowledge of laundry operations, equipment, and chemical usage
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory management and budgeting
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency and quality control
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in laundry operations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Proficiency in using laundry management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to exceptional service
