Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the laundry department, including supervising laundry staff, scheduling, and task allocation.
  • Maintain and enforce quality control standards to ensure all linens, garments, and items meet established cleanliness and presentation criteria.
  • Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels of laundry supplies, detergents, and equipment
  • Develop and implement efficient laundry processes to maximize productivity and minimize turnaround times.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean and pressed items as needed.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of laundry equipment to prevent disruptions in operations.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations within the laundry facility and implement necessary protocols to prevent accidents.
  • Handle customer inquiries, requests, and concerns related to laundry services in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on laundry operations, including productivity, expenses, and inventory levels.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
