Job Description

The Kids Club Attendant is responsible for delivering a safe, engaging, and memorable experience to our young guests at the Kids Club. This role ensures that all children enjoy a variety of fun, educational, and interactive activities while upholding the high standards of luxury and service excellence synonymous with Movenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon, Bintan, Indonesia.

  • Welcome children and families with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
  • Organize and conduct daily recreational activities such as arts & crafts, storytelling, themed games, and educational play.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times through constant supervision and adherence to health & safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment in the Kids Club area.
  • Monitor children’s behavior and activities, responding promptly and appropriately to any concerns or incidents.
  • Establish rapport with parents, updating them regularly on their child’s experience and progress.
  • Support the creation of seasonal or special event programming in line with the resort’s guest engagement strategy.
  • Maintain Kids Club inventories, ensure all materials and toys are clean and in good condition.
  • Follow proper check-in/check-out procedures for all children in accordance with hotel policy.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments (e.g., Housekeeping, Security, Food & Beverage) to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role in luxury hospitality or childcare settings preferred.
  • Diploma or certification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required (or willing to obtain).
  • Energetic, creative, and passionate about working with children.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • High level of patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
