Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Income Auditor to join our finance team in Mövenpick Resort Cam Ranh. As an Income Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, focusing on revenue-related transactions and reports.

  • Ensure accurate daily auditing of all hotel revenues including rooms, F&B, telephone, spa, banquet, and other operated departments.
  • Review and verify supporting documents for all revenue transactions, including complimentary rooms, house use, voided/discounted checks, and rate variances.
  • Audit postings to city ledger and credit cards before transferring to Accounts Receivable; monitor late charges and investigate discrepancies.
  • Reconcile daily revenue reports from Night Audit, ensuring completeness and accuracy across all systems and departments.
  • Check the accuracy of system pricing setups, including outlet prices, meal coupon rates, and rate plans for regular and contract guests.
  • Verify sequential control of pre-numbered documents (F&B checks, spa vouchers, receipts) and investigate any missing or irregular forms.
  • Monitor and audit cashier reports and cash movements, including spot checks, float reconciliations, and surprise cash counts with finance leaders.
  • Track and report any revenue irregularities promptly to the Assistant or Resident Director of Finance.
  • Prepare accurate journal entries and closing schedules for rooms and F&B revenue during month-end closing.
  • Maintain proper documentation and support team development, including training junior staff to ensure audit efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems such as OPERA and PMS Sun
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and auditing procedures
  • Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Service-oriented mindset with a keen eye for details
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
