Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Income Auditor to join our team in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. As an Income Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records by auditing and verifying revenue transactions across various departments.

  • Audit and verify all revenue transactions for different departments, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other outlets
  • Prepare and distribute daily revenue reports to management and department heads
  • Review and reconcile Point of Sale (POS) and Property Management System (PMS) reports with supporting documentation
  • Ensure proper authorization and documentation of discounts, voids, refunds, and allowances
  • Investigate and report on any discrepancies or irregularities found during audits
  • Monitor compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
  • Collaborate with Night Audit and Front Office teams to ensure accuracy of daily postings
  • Liaise with operational departments for clarification and follow-up on revenue matters
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient auditing procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an auditing or accounting role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with hotel revenue processes and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and accounting standards is a plus
