    Job Description

    We are searching for creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic who consistently strive for perfection.

    Starting Rate: $27.03 per hour

    We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $30.39.

    Job Duties Include:  

    • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
    • Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
    • Mending, alternations and hand sewing
    • Assist in all duties of the uniform room
    • Follow all safety and sanitation policies
    • Other duties as assigned

    Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

    • Frequent sitting throughout shift
    • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
    • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
    • Bending / Reaching
    • Pushing and pulling

    Qualifications

    Your Skills & Experience:

    • Excellent understanding of industrial serge’s & sewing machine is an asset
    • Mending and hand sewing knowledge is required
    • Knowledge of preplacing zippers, fabric, buttons and linings
    • Must be able to take accurate measurements for all uniforms and business attire fittings
    • Must be comfortable to perform alterations with various fabrics
    • Excellent communication and organization skills
    • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast- paced environment
    • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, reaming calm and courteous at all times. 
    • Familiar with Microsoft
