About Ibis Styles St. Paul Bay

Ibis Styles St. Paul Bay is a vibrant and contemporary hotel situated in the picturesque town of St. Paul Bay, Malta. Known for its stylish design, exceptional service, and comfortable accommodations, the hotel caters to both leisure and business travelers. Our guests enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, modern amenities, and easy access to local attractions, dining, and shopping.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, and enhancing guest satisfaction. Additionally, the Hotel Manager will support and manage other assets of the owner, contributing to the overall success and growth of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the hotel, ensuring efficiency and excellence in all departments.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the hotel staff to provide exceptional service to guests.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures to achieve profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall presentation of the hotel.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Foster strong relationships with local businesses, suppliers, and community organizations.

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Opera software.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of local market and industry trends is a plus.
